If you just hire the cheapest or first PMC you speak with and it turns into a bad experience, please don’t assume ALL PMC’s are bad and start trashing PMC’s in general.

His 40-plus years in real estate speaks for itself, and his unquestionable devotion to providing his expertise, advice, and thoughts here on BP have earned him a level of respect on this site that you apparently are unaware of.He will not condemn anyone simply based off a black and white forum.  

This my friends on BP is just the reality of Real Estate you have two basic methods One mom and pop keep their day jobs and start buying long term hold rentals as they can afford them and if they like it they keep at it..Two you jump in the game and try to make money transactionally IE RE Broker  Flipper Wholesaler MLO  leasing agent etc etc.. this also is a long term ramp.. what the Guru programs attract generally speaking is those that get excited think they can somehow buy a program ( any program pick one) and its going to jump start them to this mythical financial freedom everyone talks about..

I have never had to file a claim though so I can't speak to that experience. 

and these places are not luxury apartments but more older half of duplexes. 

My guess is that if it is a STR, they probably don't want them either and it would be more work for them to take them.Generally speaking, I like to put my own touch on everything.  

They strategically avoid speaking to customers and offer support via online chat to a non US based helpdesk.
