Dana Brix Profit split and structure
13 March 2025 | 2 replies
Since our split with friend was 50/50, if I hadn't billed it, I would have effectively done $2500 of labor for $1250, which I wasn't willing to do.But, at the end of the day, I mention this as a simple point to bring up with your BFF/fiance, but I also value friendship and given this was not discussed ahead of time, and I assume you want to keep these people in your life, while you are probably the one losing out the most here, I would write it off as cost of education, and next time you make sure before any work is started, you at least have a set understanding of how things will flow, financially, and then draft it all up into an agreement before you actually start the project.

Jennifer Roussel Is this normal?
10 March 2025 | 20 replies
wrong market wrong agent. if you have to post 6 paragraphs asking for advice on a realtor the problem is the realtor. if you are looking up comparable sales for your realtor you are with the wrong realtor. saying you are newer too and asking about if it's normal also shows you should get with someone with more experience. a lot of people joke about columbus ohio and how many agents there are in the market active on here but at the same time that gives you a lot of options. depending on your liquidity and funds I'd look around.
