Lots of hosts are enjoying the use of Market my STR created by Bill Faeth and Go Market My STR made by another host whose name is slipping my mind.

What I hear again and again from hosts who are accustomed to Airbnb for their STRs and even some MTRs is that they expect FF to work the same way when, in reality, FF is just a lead generation platform.

I’m in a STR mastermind and starting a co-hosting business so will get something out that way soon!  

We just had an incident… a guest tried to steal money from the host , my mother in law -long story but lied stole cheated while staying and furnished finders will do very little to back you up, they’re like a hands off broker essentially, just do your due diligence and have good contracts in place, and research / background check really well if you use FFinders.

If you're curious, I also host monthly networking events, meetups at current house hack and STR properties, etc. where you can soak in a ton of information and meet with experienced investors who have done the same strategies.

The worst thing is that states and municipalities are using wildly inflated data that AirDNA and their ilk are pitching to create more and more restrictive zoning laws based on the perception of windfall host profits, further creating challenges to supporting our mortgages in a region with an already long 4-6 month shoulder season.

@Sam TrightBesides the other comments above you also start really walking or crossing the fine line of selling securities when you start bundling up parts of a note and selling it to different people.
