And @Ali Boone, I lived in Venice/Santa Monica in the early/mid '80s and I remember Venice being a dump filled with drug dealers and homeless - far from trendy!

I basically work at my job because i was layed off a year ago and took  the job to keep my family intact instead of possible homelessness.

I think as long as we have this problem there should not be any homeless people.
