@Joshua Harmon I would suggest you don't cap your washer/dryer.Surprised that your local market doesn't support RUBS as this is pretty universal. 

Although I am lucky to have found a great location as well as a harmonious and sustainable house hack, I don't believe the location is the biggest concern for me in the beginning.
