I have a no pets policy for my rental, a one bedroom apartment that is an ADU on the bottom floor of a larger house that is a separate rental above, because there is less insulation between the walls, and the noise carries and barking could disrupt the other tenants.

They did have some things they would like to see done to lower the noise a bit but I felt it was easy to do.

She said she will try her hardest to keep the noise down, but it may be a challenge given that her youngest is autistic and nonverbal.

If I were to get my park back up and running, I would be adding the ability for the trucks to plug in (cut down on generator noise and exhaust - I would charge for access or build it into the rental fee, and most food truck operators would love this option), add real bathrooms, and add other features as an additional draw to get customers for the trucks. 

I rent a duplex outside Austin Texas that has a sewage pump/grinder system set up to grind waste and pump it from the duplex to the city sewer lines.

@Steve Ross, Although the noise seems like most DSTs are done in conjunction with a 1031. 

There's so much noise out there and people trying to sell the dream of investing in real estate that its easy to see everyone's success and ask your self why not me and take action.

We're also lucky that none of the bedrooms share a wall so that should reduce any noise disturbances.

Should I grind through and try to maintain/fix these places up?
