Many of the lakes have local STR management although not cheap.  

I’m in Cedar lake and looking for opportunities.

We're currently looking in Jackson, Brighton, Howell, Ypsilanti, Chelsea, Fenton, Whitemore lake, and Fowlerville (Michigan). 

I have been presented with an opportunity to invest in a Class A multifamily syndication in the Old Hickory Lake/Lakewood area of TN.

Valpo is a great area to invest in, Munster is also great but Lake county seems to have higher costs.

I love to hear about other investors in the Salt Lake area.

I'm currently living in Crown Point Indiana and hope to invest in surrounding Northwest Indiana (Hobart, Merrillville, Portage, Lake Station) and maybe eventually the South West suburbs of Chicago.I'm mostly interested in flipping single family homes and purchasing smaller multi families. 

There are a lot of under the radar markets around the Great Lakes.

I'll see your charts and raise you one more.If I were in Austin, Nashville, Salt Lake City, or Colorado Springs, I would be worried about the next two years.  

From $400-500k boutique hotels, to Lake or Riverfront RV parks for $1M+ to 300+ storage units for $2M these are not institutional asking prices (as are common in neighboring States.)
