That is true in any asset from business to stocks to real estate to bitcoin.

If someone in the house is mining Bitcoin for example and leaving the computer on 24 hours a day that will be more expensive. 

Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin could be used to collect rents. 

Maybe that's buying bitcoin, or starting an all you can drink coffee chain, or agreeing to work until you're 80... it really doesn't matter.  

They pay 5.75% on Bitcoin which is just a juggernaut.

They might as well invest in bitcoin at that point or day trade.
