He agreed with me and obviously didn't do a close out inspection with the previous tenant (in his words "because she had good credit").The manager rented another steam cleaner and cleaned the whole apartment.

As for mold, the indoor air was actually cleaner than the ambient outdoor air (how does that happen?).  

She was there for 4 months, but now the vacancies has depleted my savings and I am just as of today launching Airbnb through that unit (I am paying a cleaner/manager 20% plus cleaning grade) I’m not sure how this will perform, but anything helps.

My cleaner manages and replenishes everything 

Having a great cleaner and management is key since you are in the hospitality business with STRs.

I would not even try, You will than need a staff ( cleaners, leasing agents, )  for all your move in and outs, NOT easy finding reliable help in Cleveland.

Cleaners and managers are sometimes flaky and the good ones are not cheap.

Some partners and I run a STR property management company here in the Phoenix area and I can't say we've had the best luck with finding consistent cleaners, especially as of late.

Does anybody have a cleaner's checklist for your STR that you can share?

Does anyone have a good short-term rental cleaner who could serve your needs better if that cleaner had more business?
