The point I'm trying to make is that NYC is not a "Nightmare Market" if you were to think of it as a place where once you plant your expensive seed in the ground, it will grow into a beautiful tree!

Bushes that looked fine 50 years ago are often past the point of saving and removing them, putting in a mulch bed and planting some new ones is an easy fix to an eyesore.2) Repainting the exterior. 

I was a tenant within the commercial building, looking to build my business but was hampered by the lack of maintenance and care of the physical plant by the owner.

Great property with lots of character and all of the outdoor living elements I would expect (mature desert trees/plants, hammocks, shade, hot tub).

That was a few years back, and since then, the plant has expanded into structural beams.

Noe was able to confidently advise us on the million questions we had about investing & renovations with single or small multi family in the area.In the end we've decided to plant roots in Boise, where I'm originally from, which was a bummer because we would have loved to work with him!

I came across a thread about water treatment plants and a gentleman by the name of Jim Johnson  caught my eye. 

I'd like to start investing in real estate to create another income source and to build equity, but I don't wish to plant that seed if it's not the right season.
