In your post, it seems you've tried to address @Dave Toelkes point by saying that the training will enhance your skill set for your current position.The upshot of all this is that much of what your proposing falls into areas in which many taxpayers take many liberties, but regarding which you may want to get advice from a tax advisor that knows your overall financial and tax profile.You mention formation of an LLC as a component of your tax strategy.

Bass really carries, so no bass enhancement devices either.Since your sub-floor is attached directly to the joists without the sound control between them the noise will carry a lot from above to below and from below to above.

dentites are well known for being lousy investors...Steve as long as they are not Anti Dentites  although frankly most of the medical dental professionals I deal are pretty darn sharp.. although there was in the day when Doctors got ragged on pretty hard as private pilots.. forgetting to put the gear down seemed to be a favorite.. but In my airplane community there are many doctors and dentist and they totally dispel the myth .. which this is all a big myth.

I scored a super nice 9-drawer mahogany dresser for $45 (new would probably be ~$2000, used maybe $500); Cherry/mahogany isn't really my thing, but it was a nice finish in great condition so I left as-is.I live near the beach, so it's very easy for me to rent out my rooms.
