Please feel free to relocate this thread into another forum Mods...I wasn't sure where to put.Is there such an animal as a receipt tracker that's electronic that I can buy, input the receipt, scan, etc and have it automaticallly log for my taxes?

I even keep a log to remind myself where the entire day went!

My tenants to the lat my bank, an I have auto pay from my accounts to the appropriate loan, all at the same bank, its simple, for the tenant, and for me, I give them a deposit slip with the account name, property address, and last 4 of the account, I can log in and see they paid, and the bank even images the deposit slip, so I can verify, Be careful with services, I heard on The Dave Ramsey Show, a guy was using a service, and a tenant was paying with stolen checks electronically, because the landlord was in possession of stolen property (the money) it was confiscated, in his case 11 months worth, know the terms and conditions. 

The simplest way is to log them on a spreadsheet with the date, amount and purpose of the expense.

Does anyone have any suggestions as far as real estate software to log properties, organize contacts, keep track of leads etc. ?

I have a would of should of for each decade actually.for the 90s I would have bought every timber property I could have and kept them to now... log prices are back up to all time highs.... and in the 25 years i would have sat on the timber tracks there would be about 50% more volume based on decent growth rates.. so all time high prices and twice as much timber to log..

Should be a monthly log of deposits into the business bank account getting rent from each of the units and when it is paid each month (late, on time etc.).
