Other areas of the country do not operate like D.C. and some places still have 20% plus vacancy in the office sector.

Let the private sector say what loan requirements they want, such as LTV, FICO score, etc...

I'm moving into tax deeds a little too and I can assure you, the learning never stops in this sector of the business.

I find the "green energy" sector interesting, and started a little biodiesel business right out of college.

The "hot" markets usually hit rock bottom the "hottest" means possible when the economy sucks just as stock sectors do.  

I wish I had decades of experience and can compare and contrast the banking sector before the crash but I don't. 

There is regulation and then there is persecution... if you are/were in financial services, there are elements of dodd frank that just seems was meant to cripple certain facets of the sector.

Whilst incomes overall have been somewhat stagnant, so has inflation and there are always some sectors where significant increases in income offset decreases in other sectors. 

To make this short and sweet investor “mind-like” agents are rare, in the residential sector, commercial is a different ballgame but for a regular local agent it’s rare to find one.
