Am I biased -- YES, but nonetheless it's good advice to get professional help. 

I might be considered bias but since I was a real estate broker in Texas for about 30 years. 

I think conventional biases will prevail when speaking to someone in FL vs someone in TX.

Being a property manager in South Carolina, I am a bit biased towards my state.

I might be bias because I live and sell in Chicago but I think there is so much opportunity here.

Wealth retention and building is a matter of becoming informed on whatever options are available, and some simple math ideas to displace real or invented ignorance and bias we experience over the years. 

This behavior defines confirmation bias. 

The latter investors typically plan to use their property as a second home, so they have a lot of personal bias in the type/location/style of the home because they want it to fit their family's needs. 

A little biased with this recommendation since I invest in the market from California, but I know a lot of other investors in Hawaii that are also investing in Indy. =)
