It is so tempting to respond, "Hide in the closet until it stops!"

Whenever I buy a new unit one of the first things I do is change the locks and as I do so I replace the locking knob with a non-locking hallway/closet knob.

Generally, the cost to add ducts is about $2k plus the cost of the furnace $3-4k - the closer you can get to a gas line the better, so most of our are in hall closets off the kitchen

Personally, I would do a low cost minor remodel to make it 4 plex with storage (maybe even low cost closet/ locker you can even charge for win/win), but to each his own I guess.

Regardless if it is in a bedroom, in a walk-in closet, in the dining room, or in the living room. 

Like eliminating basement windows, doorbells, storm doors, outside water faucets, etc.We've eliminated in some units dishwashers, ceiling fans, even closet doors, mainly because those items broke or were broken.

My buddy worked on the stairway, and we found two sizeable piles of poop in a little closet thing that held stereo equipment.

We close some in our house (in our large closet and unused bedrooms), and I even put a large magnet over them to help seal them where we don't need heat. 

The neighbor next door also had a myriad of cars, vans and portable garages in his front yard that had me thinking it could be an issue when selling tilm came.

I noticed it during an inspection because he had a small safe where he kept it in his closet.
