Basicallt no more builds or any type, or staying on your property past sun-down, is allowed unless already existing with water hookups granted and in place.A Labor Day “camping party” happened this year in cambria after someone bought a piece of land there to celebrate the new owners, the owners and their friends camped on the property overnight, they were cited and told they should have gotten a camping permit (even tho the city doesn’t grant them- it’s very shady).So yes, you can’t even live on these lots.

I think there is a culture there that is more geared to an AirBnb mindset (just a hunch). 

The older more "mature" cultures, regardless of their world status, you forget they don't have the "coddle" culture either.

Never move to a place and buy without first understanding the culture.

This place is culturally bias in such a complete way that it daily seems unreal.  

The main issue I personally see is the ME culture. 

With many tech companies going remote, restaurants and culture life being on hold for the next who knows years, and state of cleanliness of the street- I'm not sure how things will end up.

Follow up question: Is there a culture of lawyers dissuading sellers from complicated contracts?

Meeting them in person is key to have an idea of whats their business culture and ways they handle certain emergencies like a roof leak, broken pipe etc.
