I am considering installing the granite counter tops myself (buy, cut and install) but I am not sure if the price of buying the tools and materials, paired with time/effort is worth it vs. hiring a professional?

All cabinets from Lowes & were slightly damaged $980 (I'd been collecting them for a few months).Laminate counter tops $200.Appliances were a Samsung deal for another flip we're doing so we added these to the order.Fridge $425, Stove $325, DW $400 Microwave $23 ( It was a $249 Frigidaire Gallery unit but side was dented & I did some sheet metal repair).

Get a pretty back splash, upgrade the countertop/sink/faucet .... and I'd also change the paint color to a soft grey... it shouldn't cost you more than $1K, and will look gorgeous in pictures!

Again, these are mostly in Texas, and these are very nice buildings with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, ridiculous pools, and an 11,000 SF clubhouse.
