I've never done a significant STR, but I was just listening to Bill Manaserro's Podcast: Old Dawgs Podcast on the very same subject.He converted some of his high-turnover efficiency units in Indie into STR, and was trying to figure out how to make that work while living in CA (a problem I have a lot of sympathy for!)

I don't expect sympathy! 

But then, I don't have much sympathy for employers paying minimum wage...Starbucks pays health insurace to employees that only work 12 hours per week and its some of the best healthcare out there.

Simple to the point questions but also asking a little about their background showing sympathy to most people's situation and grief, because I do care I definitely know what it feels like to loose everything with no way out.

It's all perspective And others are just so fed up with their results, got burned in the past and OR QUIT on themselves...that every other course and "guru" must be bad as well.kinda of a shame and I honestly have sympathy for those types.

But I acknowledge that it's my fault as I let sympathy get in the way when it started happening.Aside from the few months of non-payments, and then catching up - there are no other issues with her.

They got stricker and the Fines got bigger and the Lawyer's who may have to represent you in front of the Board Downtown Tampa cost more and the Liberal Judges want to give an extra 90 days without paying Rent or Utilities to the poor Tenants who were able to write a letter for sympathy to not be Evicted because they lost their JOB.

He must have missed the whole you catch more flies with honey if he were looking for sympathy from you.we were posting at the same time so this is an edit but I would assume you were the intended recipient but go with he was just having a bad day.  

Tough one though, my sympathies go out to you.    

@Philip Hernandez it sounds like if their were any agents involved, they really dropped the ball.If you thought you'd try and do this without agents, then I have 0 sympathy for you and you more or less got what was coming to you.
