@Joe Splitrock - the only posts I have seen that say to avoid "for rent" signs come from people who have rentals in crime stricken areas, where the sign serves as an invitation to criminals.I like your idea with a voice message that steers to an online ad; I would recommend to use a link shortening service like bitly to keep the link given short.And now I will give a big tip on using "for rent" signs to augment calls coming in.
