Any idea where the information was coming from? 

The idea is simple: purchase a property, live in one part, and rent out the rest to offset your mortgage or even generate profit.

Do you have an idea of the type of property you want to buy and a price range?

We think we can break even with a conventional sale but have no idea.

Would love to hear some other ideas. 

I think there's a path to refinance that would flip me into positive cash flow, but I'm coming up short on ideas.
