Maybe I'm wrong here, but it seems the business model may have been to reach a certain level of user activity and then monetize the site.

When the government monetizes debt at 5%+ that is free money in real terms in my book.

Essentially, we've now doubled base money (cash or its real equivalent), which will be multiplied/monetized at today's favored multiple - something like 30+ times.

I don't know how to monetize my skill sets properly.

A private lender might let you monetize your excellent credit more than a bank, but they too will be expensive.

Since you've purchased, you are going to have a certain unknown amount of exposure due to the nature of how you acquired title.Attempting to monetize could be accomplished with a Grant or Warranty Deed and a Purchase Money Note secured by Trust Deed or Mortgage with a clause addressing the potential issue and who and how risk is to be born.
