For me to build I would want to see recent comps of sales for the finished project you are planning. 

A partial renovation turned into a full-scale project, doubling my $10,000 budget to $20,000.

@Matthew Brown, I am not in this investment, but I would love to hear what drew you to it in the first place: how you heard of Fairway America, why you ultimately chose to invest with them and in this project?

I admire them for their moxie in starting a company, but the fact is that investors who buy from them sight unseen are taking a massive, massive risk.  

Some situations where they (the projects) do not go the way of making the profit as you wanted, but there are still deals out there to be had.. 

My husband is a contractor, and we’ve done projects like this before for our own home.

For smaller investment amounts, we often see investors providing private loans or notes to other investors for their projects, which can offer attractive returns with the right due diligence.

My accountant wants me to start doing this in the event of an audit being I’m starting larger projects and will be implementing cost segregation Thanks

Our team buys the properties and converts them and manages them so it has been a great learning experience seeing all three phases from taking down a project, renovating the building then managing the lease up.
