I just don’t think it’s anything other than a very simplistic investment concept, it’s marketed as if it’s earth shattering with exotic names being given to mundane concepts, and overhyped and if the posters in this thread are any indication it’s being sold to people incredibly unsophisticated in personal finance.  

You might hit a few bumps in the road...tenants who imagine due dates are more like suggestions, or unexpected repairs that crop up at the worst possible moment...but that’s part of the ride.

I believe the neighborhood has some of the strongest fundamentals in the entire city but its incredibly easy to make the wrong assumptions when investing in Mount Airy if you don't truly know the market and the only way to do this is by spending considerable time in the neighborhood.

It's pretty difficult to get an investment mortgage at the moment. 

Partnerships can be incredibly rewarding, but only when built on a solid foundation.

Not to mention, these agents provide incredible valuable by providing me real time market intel on buyers tendencies, want's and needs which is important, especially when you are developing for-sale housing.

At the moment, I have an STR in the Berkshires and have considered other investments including multifamily.
