@Meagan Yednock @Anthony ColeSTR permitting will vary depending on whether the property lies within town or county jurisdiction.All of Joshua Tree, Pioneertown, Flamingo Heights, and Johnson Valley are under county jurisdiction and depending on where in Yucca Valley and Twentynine Palms the property is, it will fall under county or town jurisdiction.Parts of the permitting process are more strict with the county and some parts are more strict with the towns.There is a big push for development in Twentynine Palms so the desirability will increase with development but in general Joshua Tree is the prime location.It is highly probably that STRs will never go away in the high desert because there just isn’t enough lodging to support the number of visitors during festival and peak season.

Next weekend is the Cooper Young Festival which is the largest neighborhood festival in the city.

One was with customers who had come to Mykonos for a party festival happens every year for five days .  

lol ;)We'll be heading to Chiang Mai for the lantern festival in Nov, Bangkok, Phuket, then Tokyo, after I go to India, after the Summit.

Not to mention, it is in a PRIME location in DFW, and the city is known for festivals, wineries, parks, and a massive lake we live about 1 mile from.I LOVE THIS HOME, and I bought it for my babies, but they are no longer with me, and I have some debt, but expect to pay it all off once my business gets going.

The seem to have a sea plane festival, I'm going to have to look into that.

It was very bohemian, had great coffee shops and bars, some great music festivals, street fairs and stuff.
