What are your releasing options, should they go dark/not extend?

I have rented oceanfront condos for my extended family for quite a few years. 

When rental demand dips they suffer with placing tenants or forced to play a game with who can charge the least in the area.

You can always refinance your HELOC to extend your terms or draw period but you're subject to the margin and index at that time relative to your current HELOC assuming you have a HELOC at this moment. 

It is a shame that someone has to suffer, but the distress often creates really big opportunities.

Most of my guests book well in advance because they are mostly extended families and need to coordinate vacation times, so they're not as worried about last minute accommodations.
