I'm not sure if I'm too keen on the condo setup, the houses would be a bit close together.

I would look at outlier counties as well were competition is not so keen.

I personally do rehabs, so not so keen on rental and cashflow units as of yet.

This, along with buying a house at one of the worst possible times -2005- has given me a keen interest in the real estate market.

The only real estate I currently own are our houses, all 100% paid, and the building in Seattle where the offices of the software company I run is located, again 100% paid for.Given what I firmly believe is coming, those using leverage need to be keenly aware of its risks and the warning signs indicating the need to reduce that leverage.

I'd be the first to admit that this has been more luck than good judgement.I'm keen to dip my toe into real estate over here.

@Dana Nicholson I'm surprised no one has chimed in on this yet.I personally am not too keen on partnerships.

I also have suggested PayNearMe but I am in the process of getting that set up and I'm not sure he is keen on paying rent at a 7-11 (we'll see).
