How can I build trust and credibility with potential investors when I’m starting out?

By resources I would be saying capital, contacts, soft skills, credibility, all of the things that help grow your business and start building a positive reputation. 

They're going to want to know how you are going to be a steward of their capital, and sharing your business plan makes sense, especially if you've never done business with them.We used to give them our credibility book.

For example, the local government rental inspection walks through and finds no issues.  

Could my LLC provide bring additional credibility (i.e., loan requirements) which directly affects the amount of capital received from the bank?

As Jeff stated, it would give local governments the authority to impose rent control on Landlords and the State won't be able to stop them.Rent control is bad.

If the government wants to send you a notice or you get sued, it will likely go to your address of record for the LLC.

If BP is not already thinking about it, I think there will come another platform that will pull in all the information from platforms like BP and other credible sources to build an intelligent conversational AI that gives real time and historical real estate related data for investors and stakeholders and at some point home buyers might not even need some of us anymore. 

Interesting point about bailouts and government support.

Plus since its an appraiser's specific area of expertise that adds to the credibility as well.
