You may under the reg D. rule changes you may target an accredited investor list begging Sept 23 IF...IF you follow the right process.You MAY legally mail out if you are using a generic introduction based on an informational type.

Bill, I'm sure you could answer that for me but here is my understanding if you're talking about a public REIT or MF:I'm not publicly advertising for funds, I'm using less than 30 or so investors (or accredited), and I'm under a certain dollar amountThose were the exceptions as I understood them.
