I know where I’m at in Chicago the price difference between a house that needs a rehab and one that just got one isn’t that far apart unless you can get something before it hits the market so not sure how easy it would be to pull it off but I mean there’s a lot of suburbs surrounding chicago where things may work better.

I don't have any experience with that company specifically, but assuming it is a 'build to rent' type program, I have yet to hear of anyone who has a completely satisfactory experience purchasing through these.Regarding the area that property is in specifically, it's going to be a very rural area, currently with low rental demand and a bit higher crime rates compared to the surrounding area.

This is for Indianapolis,IN and some of the surrounding areas.

My thoughts were to build a terrace on top of the 2-story building for views of the surrounding mountains.

Currently, I am a REALTOR in Auburn, AL, and the surrounding areas (I selected the location as Birmingham because that is the closest option to me).

My tenant informed me that a staircase and surrounding backyard porch is in bad shape and I'm looking for someone to come by and quote the job.

The airbnb numbers are what people surrounding this and other existing clients are getting in this zipcode for just rooms (around $130-150/night for a private room rental not necessarily an entire place). 

It's not rural, as there are surrounding cities and the area is in need of rental properties.

This is huge for a lot of local owners as well as the STR market in NH and potentially the surrounding states.
