Please keep in mind that neither a title agent nor loan broker is party to the title policy or mortgage so cannot bind the title insurer or holder of the mortgage with their opinion.

Also, if your loan was conventional; Fannie Mae recognizes the legitimacy of a QC between the mortgage holders and the LLC so long as the LLC is controlled by the borrowers; If the property was owned prior to closing by a limited liability corporation (LLC) that is majority-owned or controlled by the borrower(s), the time it was held by the LLC may be counted towards meeting the borrower’s six-month ownership requirement.

But to that same effect, the ownership interests of the LLC can be creative in a way that if their lender looks, they can still say that they (as co-borrowers) are still majority holders and the transfer was for their estate planning/asset protection purposes, which is a strong rationale for allowing an LLC transfer (which can then be easily owned in parts by people's trusts).

Also, I recommend getting everything in writing, so confirm in writing from the housing authority that they will pay $2,100 per month if you accept a particular Section 8 voucher holder for your vacant unit.
