That way you can unload groceries and put everything in the fridge or pantry while the bags are on the counter by the stove.If you don't want to move the electrical for the stove, put the pantry and fridge on the other side and keep the stove where it is, adding some storage and counter space....always good to have a place for pots and pans and a cooking surface by the stove.

No one is living in the property, if it goes under contract, no one is packing the bags, calling furniture movers, setting up storage arrangements, they aren't out with another agent looking for a place to rent, taking off from work,  they probably won't put a contract on another house, with a down payment and earnest money subject to the closing on their empty house.

you may want to consider investing then with some of the known top shelf syndicators if you want cash flow real estate. trying to buy low to mid range rentals probably not your bag.. it will be what it is.. inconsistent and for someone like you that is pretty detailed probably not an appropriate investment vehicle there is no real upside.
