I'm in a similar situation as you in that I need to hire a new CPA (I think I've just outgrown my current one) and some of the factors I'm considering are:-Single person operation vs. a larger firm.

I’ve just been considering paying a home inspector to come out.... would also give my husband a good to do list lol!!

Spending so much to get these places set up, I've just been churning sign-up bonuses the last year or so. 

@Timothy HowdeshellAh, but if someone went to a special school, and did a special thing or two, and then did real estate, and then distilled down all their knowledge into a package of principles and checklists and spreadsheets...maybe you could be coached by this special person or by other special people who had already learned his special system...I've just described every real estate guru program in America.

I’ve just moved from the Killeen, TX area (where I have a SFH rental) and that is a good area for SFH and MFP rentals.

It's Oct 2018 and I've just selected "IRA Financial Trust" to set up my self-directed checkbook IRA, with their sister company "IRA Financial Group" as the custodian.

I've recently found that even the ones with little experience are charging more and I do agree that you get what you pay for, in this environment your better have a contract with dates and have in the contract teeth incase they decide to take in other projects and delay yours.
