We're a long ways from that due to the extreme shortage in nearly every market.

The inventory shortage has keep demand ahead of supply even with reduced demand in my area.

The labor shortage is very real.

The home is in an area with a huge housing shortage, in a great neighborhood that saw 20%+ appreciation during the pandemic.

There is no shortage of landscaping companies who can come out twice a month and take care of that for you.

It seems like every other night on the local news there's a segment about how there's a massive shortage of places for rent to the point some people are moving away due to lack of rental inventory.  

Milwaukee is probably one of the better areas to do this, but while priced low, we have been in the top 10 most competitive markets in the US in 2023 to buy and from a renters perspective MKE is ranked #3 per rentcafe's 2023 report - both based on a chronic housing shortage.

So we actually have a shortage of new construction.
