My second one was worth his weight in gold, but his company fired him for reasons that weren't due to performance (I believe him), and the one that replaced him is AWOL as we speak.So, I believe in interviewing property managers just as I would as if I were hiring someone to work for me at a company.

Be sure that the installer foam fills the weight pockets each side of the window, otherwise you won't get all the bang for the buck on the insulation/energy side and you'll still have drafts.

I think there is real world  experience and then there is theory.Just like new investors on here giving advice about buying property when they have never bought any is weighted differently from those with actual experience.Self defense is the same way.

A big issue I remember is the weight of the countertop and that causing issues with having to beef up the bottom cabinets and structures to carry the load.Once you factor all of that in it is just quicker and easier to do laminate or a slab of granite and throw it in.
