It's not something that you want to cheap out on b/c inadequate coverage (ie. residential exclusion endorsements on the policy or venturing into an insurance product that carves out all the coverage you would need) can ruin you should an issue arise.

Odds are that you would never face a nightmare eviction but it is sort of like cancer.

Many cities have cracked down on short term rentals and if you have nosy neighbors, they can ruin it for you.
