Yes, it's a scam, OTH, if you read stuff, guru stuff, take out the claims of riches, take out the RE technical issues, take out their legal opinions in telling you what is perfectly legal, you may have an inspirational read that might motivate you.And as mentioned, such books are at the library, glanced at some but I can't take much of that stuff, but I did see some strategies in some pointed out as "new" that were nothing but spins on some really old stuff. But, as long as people just want to be feed how to make a buck without any real study and effort, I guess the gurus will always be around.

I'm a beginning investor looking to build my business on wholesaling and, although I respect what others have taken years to build, I don't want to spend years spinning my wheels trying to get started, losing money in the process, when there is a product available that could (1) point me in the right direction, (2) help me with a clear action plan (do this, this, this and then this) and (3) provide me a tool to take the marketing piece to the next level.

The backlinks to my site helping my rankings are NOT made by spinning fluff articles all over the internet. My backlinks come from REAL content, from relevant places on the interwebnet:We have a company Facebook Page with links to our siteI'm active on Bigger Pockets forums, member blogs, & BP blog posts, and each time I post/comment my gravatar or signature contains links to our siteI comment on J Scott's blog page, gravatar has links to my siteI comment on Danny Johnson's blog page, gravatar has links to my siteI post Craigslist Ads (NOT spammy) with my G Voice number & links to our websiteI post & comment on LinkedIn every once in awhile, which doesn't have a direct link to our site, but if they click to see my profile, that page has a link to our website. It's not as hard & convoluted as some people seem to think to get yourself ranked on Google & get quality backlinks.
