I have seen more retail buyers doing what you say investors do that is so harmful to sellers.

That way you don't have to go in harm's way to collect rents?

If you let things get outdated, hackers can enter your site and either destroy it or use it to harm other people's sites or computers. 

I see no harm in interviewing other architects or even interior designers unless you are looking to modify the structure, then stay with an architect.   

Surely you would agree that a trained veteran of the military had more ability to cause you physical harm than an average citizen, but you don't get to effect someone's livelyhood for a perceived potential to cause harassment.
