I bought a house resting on concrete pads and block piers.

The challenge is that if your foundation pads aren't exact level (and it's almost impossible to get them level to each other), your above ground piers all end up being different heights.

We would just use temporary jacks to re-level the house next to the settling pier and either put in a new pier or pour a new much wider pad.

With enough 5 ton bottle jacks you can lift as much as you need to, with proper base pads.

Their 72 hour carpet seems to be reasonably priced.They typically offer installation for $0-100, though they make you buy their pad, which seems to be how they offset the actual cost of installation.
