good luck installing a floor at $2.75/sf.3/4" solid oak with stain and 2 coats of poly is right around $3 for materials...so yes, if you're going to do it yourself, that's not far off...

The brands were mixed, all the kitchen stuff in black, not the newest model, and we paid a little over half of what retail is delivered to our ware house.We get unfinished 3/4” oak flooring in most of our rentals and flips.
Just Don Refinish pine floors or install 'Pergo" or laminate?

Pine still looks good but not as luxery as oak and its softer and scratches more easily.Other factor is it needs patched in a few places where wall/doorway was moved and heat registers moved.Is a pergo laminate oak floor better than pine?
