yes definitely. but the level of updates are the main aspect of renting the house. i dont put granite, but the finishes are modern. yet, i am surprised the people are super picky and dont like the size of the rooms, or the fact that they dont have two sinks in the bathroom. it's weird. i think at times they act like they are buying the place. and i know i have probably the best rentals in the area.... i dont know how other landlords do it.

its a nice house with modern updates on the inside, curb appeal isn't the best, but I believe the inside makes up for it. laundry I am not sure about. it has off street parking and a decent yard.

I advertise a unit when  available ("available now") as I am of the sentiment that "so much depends" (a William Carlos Williams quote for the Modern American Poetry crowd).. 

But we are very low-tech, and limited by management and circumstances in terms of implementing a database or other common tools for the modern age.

This house would have to play up its mid-century-modern card pretty well to compete.

I'd love visiting the friend who owned that house.Question:  How involved are you with guiding the rehab team on the updates/renovations for the flip, are they more knowledgeable about how to modernize a home and you just agree to the Scope Of Work OR do you detail to them the changes you want performed (picking materials/blowing out walls/replacing windows)?  

White is modern but not historical / classical which is what you have.
