And these are supposed to be adults....It takes me twice as long to place a tenant in one of my homes but the chances are that tennant will be a better quality and live there much longer with no problems.

To someone who has never purchased a property and has spent all of their adult life as a renter, it terrified me (and still does a tiny bit) to think about buying an investment property and then getting in way over my head.When I first started learning about BiggerPockets (disclaimer: I work in the BP office, however, I do not have a real estate background nor have I ever invested in real estate at this point) I couldn't imagine throwing thousands to tens of thousands of dollars towards a property.
