Our investment business is converting warehouses into fully conditioned interior units. 

I don't know about a warehouse supplier, but I used Trafficmaster Lake shore Pecan laminate wood planks from the home depot in my rental.

Plenty of warehouse, call center and foodservice work available though so if you rent to folks bringing home 2500 - 3500 a month you are good.

A few years back (when deals were available) I averaged $10K+ annually from Surplus Warehouse in Raleigh. 

I've read some other advice regarding keeping the power on in a vacant property but the reasoning behind it is usually related to showing the property in a well lit environment at a comfortable temperature.

Would you rather be home based in the Bay Area with tons of things to do nearby, good weather, lots of nature, etc. or someplace with little culture, extreme temperatures, bland immediate environment, etc., etc.

Well during the closing process someone turned off the heat and knowing there were some leaks in the roof we saw that the temperature fluctuations caused the moisture in the house to expand and contract to cause our plaster to crumble whenever touched.

Hi Michelle,Yes, I think a better contractor would have helped, but the main issue I have is when the OAT is around 12F or below with an inside temperature at 68F (a delta of ~55F or more) I get heavy frosting on the exterior (cold) surfaces, in localized areas.

Add some beautiful aromas, set the perfect temperature and voila!...

I am looking to purchase a warehouse in Florida, and would love to hear from anyone in the States who has experience and is willing to share.
