I have two listings in 55+ now and they wont' even allow a sign in the yard or open houses, typically very controlling HOA's.We have no shortage of 55+ communities from low end mobile home parks to high end golf resorts (think The Villages), so budget and location will play a key, but lifestyle should also be considered.

Their unit is a 5-BR rented out by rooms, each for $50-60 a day.I also know someone who rents out a bedroom in his owner-occupied townhouse in Berryessa, but don't know how well it went.But basically there's a shortage for hotels and the demand is good.I would be happy to connect with those people.

There is no housing inventory shortage, just a shortage of listings on the MLS.A property owner has more avenues to sell their house outside of the MLS and dealing with Realtors than ever before, and some of those avenues can get them full market value without having to pay a Realtors commission and have much easier processes.But I'm still trying to work out the buyers side.
