On all of the ones I've dealt with, you can slide the magnets out and try to clean the magnets and the metal up with denatured alcohol.

There is a reason people pay $1.69 for a drink at a "convenience store" when they can buy the same one at a grocery store for $0.39.       

I'm late to the game when it comes to floating vinyl but I'm drinking the Kool-Aid now.
