@Susan Herschell you'll learn pretty soon that the transparency is not to your benefit.When one or two Tenants will ask you to wave late fees when "their car got broken", "the baby get sick", the bank account got broken into", "they change the job and will get back on track soon" - you will help them.But eventually you'll understand that these reasons are endless and you run a business, not a charity.The lease states parties as "Landlord" and "Tenant(s)", I sign the lease on behave of the Landlord as a property manager for the XXX, LLC.They contact me, they might guess now and then that I'm the property owner but I don't disappoint them with the truth.

To say the least I'm disappointed I won't be a owner of a apartment complex but hey at least i tried.

Forget 8 hour days watching the clock.Have a voracious appetite for knowledge (and later wisdom that comes from experience).Get out there and network.If you do all of that well, 10, 15, 30 years from now, you won't be disappointed or have regrets. 

Having mentioned those caveats I will say I was disappointed with the final result.  

Excellent business and mindset shift books respectively.I am reading Power of Now and have to say it is not disappointing.

Old tea has little taste and is really disappointing, while a nice fresh cup is really nice.

My observation is a number of people have posted disappointment in working with gurus (one more posted in this thread already) and I have not seen many if any positive posts about working with expensive gurus.  

I can't wait to listen, but if he says in the interview that "military guys don't make a lot of money" I'll be disappointed.

A few comments prior I tried visiting the OP's blog (www.myairbnbsquatter.com) and was disappointed to see it now redirects to HomeAway's website. 

That's life in general, if you are waiting around for the clear roadmap, or the right time you will live a life of waiting, also filled with anxiety and disappointment.
