Yup you got it right, it seems French and Germany is learning from Mister Erdogan :) LOL This is really a history book in the making.

The rent market has almost doubled already and they navy doesn't even have the bulk of the new sailors there yet.  

Currently active duty in the U.S Navy, and my initial goal for myself before I retire (August 2027) is to own 5 units.

Our motivation is to be able to control our life when my husband time with the Navy comes to an end.

A French guy I know in Shanghai now owns an apartment complex in the center of the city free and clear that he purchased around 10 years ago, so there are even those kinds of possibilities.
