A few of them also mentioned that they don't really expect this to affect the housing affordability in the county, but do believe that STRs can affect the quality and integrity of the neighborhoods in the county which they want to preserve.  

You want the highest quality tenant as possible & those two intangibles we find makes a difference. 

Also North Providence is a great area, so you should have no problem finding quality tenants.

Quite prudent to stay away from such lack of quality in regards to REI agents.

The license doesn't cost more, the service and quality does.And a note on that cost, in my experience hiring contractors, only a small percentage of the cost savings was due to finding the right guy who is willing to work for less.

You are being very conservative to avoid making mistakes, and that is a rare, admirable quality in real estate that is often undervalued. 

You’ll want to invest in areas that have tenant interest but also aren't on the extreme end of neighborhood quality—this means avoiding the very toughest spots, where turnover can be high and managing tenants can be difficult.

Now, there may be some skepticism in regard to the quality of working with us and we understand your viewpoint on this.Please keep in mind that if it sounds "too good to be true" then please do additional research.

I'd hate for a temporary dip in the quality of the tenant pool to be giving my landlord "spidey sense" false alarms on account of taking an extra month or two to fill a unit.
