Personally for our company, since we entered the 1st lien space a few years ago, product availability with 2nd liens isn't a huge issue.

So will see how that all shakes out for PDX. really the affordable is in Townhouse production by the large production builders thats about as good as it gets..

More than likely, the loan officer on your file either A) didnt know their own product very well, or B) glossed over this aspect in order to get the loan to closed due to a lack of integrity.

@Andrew M. yeah, if you opened a HELOC while you opened while living there then it's likely that they don't want to extend that current product.
