-if you do still feel bad, there are demo companies that will separate anything recyclable, reusable, salvageable, etc from the trash, but they probably cost a little more and take a little longer.

They really need to crack down on the recyclers, which they do around here, which is probably why we dont have as big a problem.Like the others have said, do an alarm system and get your lights up.

It is the winter time, so my usual easy to rent rentals are not as easy :) My normal websites are craiglist, facebook (local recycle pages) and zillow.

How you handle it also depends on your local laws and utility company policies.In our municipality the owner of the property must pay for garbage/recycling service for multiplexes, but we can require the tenant to pay for such on single family homes.One of our plexes does not have separate meters for the water, so we pay for that too.

. #1: most of them lie and tell us that they are actually the principal and not acting as a broker, #2: most recycle product "lists" that have we've seen several times and are quite dated (I recently was offered a package with several notes...3 of which I owned), #3: most try to get too greedy and try to structure the deal so that it doesn't work for us, and #4: most haven't got a clue what they are doing.

Prior to leaving the USA and the financial crash I had purchased 5 properties and recycled (flipped) another 3 more with good returns.
