However, I include a request to not walk the property prior to our showing appointment out of respect for the safety and privacy of my existing tenants also living at the property.Maybe a RE agent out there has another angle as to why they would be so intrusive about the ID up front without at least some inside pics and an amenities list.

I've always felt like I was invading my tenants privacy by entering the house but after listening to so many property managers/landlords on the podcasts, I want to be more proactive in inspecting the house.How do I change the tone after so many years of being very hands-off?

We spent quite awhile discussing that before we even got to loan options I redacted her name for privacy but you can tell I cut and pasted that.. and yes .. the owner of DHM  has gotten on here and said they no longer require the 3k up front.. but then I get these PM's saying its not true.. so that leads to me believe they may size up who they are talking to and tell different stories to different folks??

@Brian PulaskiYeah, I can understand the agents fear of a teenager walking around there clients home because it’s unusual to see, but I wouldn’t invade the sellers privacy in any way like an agent might anticipate.
